The Triple-Decker Burger you can do at home
This mouthwatering triple layer burger is easy to make at home. All you will really need is 1/2 kgs ground beef, pressed into a patty bigger than your palm and as thick as your finger. You can make two patties at a time. Fry the patties in a flat non-stick pan (skillet). Sprinkle a pinch of black pepper and salt. Turn the patties to the other side and add your cheese slice over the patty. On another skillet, toast your buns (three slices) until golden brown.
Your homemade sauce. In a bowl, mix all ingredients together for your dressing – 120 gms mayo, 1 diced gherkin, 1 tsp white vinegar, 1 tsp yellow mustard, 1 tsp garlic, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, and 1/2 tsp white pepper.
Put them all together. Take the toasted buns, spread the dressing on the first layer, sprinkle some diced white onions, thinly sliced (shredded) cabbage, patty and cheese, and top it with the middle layer of the toasted bun. On the second layer, do the same thing, this time you can add some slices of pickles, then top it with your patty and cheese, and finally top it with the bun. There you have it – your homemade triple-decker burger
